We’ve rented this house twice now in the off-season and it’s a fantastic value in a great location on the island. The only negative I can say is that the couch is the most uncomfortable couch ever. The second time we rented it, I was sad to see that couch and have decided to pass on renting the house b/c of that couch. It’s SO uncomfortable! Otherwise, there is plenty of space for 2 families or just me, my spouse and my mom and our dogs.

Absolutely love staying at this home. We have stayed here a few years in a row and made a second trip this year to end the summer. The house is beautiful and has everything we need. Also a plus to have the elevator for luggage. So convenient to the beach and ramp access. It’s toward the end of the island where there is less traffic – super nice. Enjoy our trip every time and have it reserved again for next year!!

This house was exactly as described, and just what we needed for our family vacation. Well stocked kitchen, great location, perfect layout with lots of window views. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were updated with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The outdoor spaces are fabulous for watching early morning sunrises and evening sunsets, and the outdoor shower was great for the dog. And the heart of town is just a few blocks away. Check in/out was easy with clear instructions and email communication. We would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at Might As Well Try just one row back from the ocean—but with completely unobstructed views that made it feel like beachfront! Every morning started with coffee on the wraparound deck, watching dolphins play in the surf as the sun rose in a blaze of color. And in the evenings, the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking—like something out of a postcard.

The house itself was lovely: clean, comfortable, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. From kitchen essentials to beach gear, it was clear the owners had thought of everything to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

One of the highlights was working with A Beach Place Realty. They were friendly, responsive, and made the entire booking process seamless. We felt well taken care of from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home and a front-row seat to nature’s beauty, this is the place. We can’t wait to be back in the late Spring.

7 sisters shared this wonderful home for a week in October. This is our 3rd time in Beach Blonde, and we hope to continue this tradition. It is perfect for us – comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen, large common space and enough rooms for us to have some down time in privacy. We enjoyed coffee while overlooking the ocean in the mornings and time in the hot tub in the evenings. Highly recommend (as long as others don’t try to rent it during “our” week!).

The views from the living room make it all worth while. Watching the sun rise over the ocean while drinking a hot cup of coffee floods the soul with a sense of peace and stillness. It’s very well situated away from the main road but a literal 3 minute walk to the beach. The house itself is very roomy, airy, clean, and inviting. The fenced yard is ideal if you have a little dog who wants to run around. There truly isn’t one thing about the house or location where my thought was, ” Well, this could definitely be better if… ” Being there is a wonderful experience and I believe anyone who stays there will be happy.

We stayed at “Meadow Sound” for a family reunion in July 2025. Every aspect was above and beyond. Immaculately clean! The house comfortably accommodated 8 adults (and could have accommodated more children). The great room furniture included a massive leather sofa and hand-crafted dining table. The kitchen was well appointed with a 6 burner gas stove and all necessary utensils, cutlery & dishes (no mismatched hodgepodge). There were 3 master suites with firm, comfortable beds and private, spacious bathrooms. Each suite also had ceiling fans. There was a boat dock if you wish to rent (or bring your own) boat. The home’s situation was ideal on Topsail Island. We daily took advantage of easy walks (or bike rides) to all the island has to offer. What we appreciated most, however, were the spectacular sunsets from the sound-facing veranda!

The only downside to staying in this house is the quality of the great room furniture. Wet swimsuits on the leather sofa would have been a no-go and placemats/coasters on the dining table were a must. If someone is looking for an “anything goes” beach shack, don’t choose this home.

We have vacationed on Topsail Island for many years and this is our absolute favorite place to stay! We love the large deck on the ocean side of the home and the rooftop deck. This home fits our family perfectly and everyone really enjoys the game room along with the extra living areas in the home to relax and enjoy family. We will be back next year!
