What a wonderful house, neighborhood, and town! Access to the beach is quick and easy – just a short walk. Homeowners have a wagon to help you cart your beach items over. The view of the sound is so pretty and the use of kayaks and other outdoor toys is a perfect touch! There is so much space in the house to find a quiet spot away from others AND there are big rooms where all guests can gather together at once. The kitchen has everything you need. The furnishings are lovely. The laundry room is AMAZING! 🙂 There are games for all ages. Everything worked! The elevator was so helpful for hauling groceries. We had the BEST time and would go back tomorrow if we could. The property management was very easy to work with and very organized. We had perfect weather, but had it been rainy, we would have had enough views and covered spaces to sit outside. 10 out of 10.

My family fell in love with Joyful Sound the first time we stayed there!!! Between the absolutely beautiful, well-appointed beach house, the gorgeous, vivid views of the sunsets from the back deck facing the Sound, and the very short walks to the wide beach, what’s not to love about Joyful Sound?!!! We love it so much that we’ve stayed there three times!!! Each time we’ve come, we’ve enjoyed waking up in the lovely beach house with our big family, making and sharing a big breakfast in the kitchen, equipped with every cooking pot, utensil, coffee maker, of which you could ever dream! We also had so much fun kayaking on the Sound with the kayaks provided! It took us about four minutes to walk to the beach, and that was with a toddler in tow! We cooked a low country boil one evening that was delicious! I cannot say enough good things about Joyful Sound!!! I truly believe that your family will love it, too!!!

We loved staying at the Joyful Sound! It was such a peaceful place to come back to after the beach, and its location on the water where you can kayak is amazing! The game room was also fun to use as well for watching movies or game nights. Everything was super clean, seamless, and just overall a great place to stay! We loved being able to stay here for our vacation.

Our family went and stayed at Joyful Sound and it really was the best of both worlds! With a lovely view of Topsail Sound, we would sit out back and watch the sunset- it did not disappoint! Each night was more gorgeous than the one before! Just a short walk to the beach, and we could enjoy the sun and the waves. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, and had plenty of space for our large family. The kitchen was great for us to enjoy most of our meals at the house. It was a relaxing vacation and we would highly recommend making this your place to stay on your next vacation!

Surf City’s Stunning Joyful Sound has become our family favorite! The home exudes joy, peace and tranquility from the moment you arrive. Every detail is covered and well provided – like paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles! Even a very helpful beach wagon! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have a great on the deck and it was fun to grill fresh seafood from the market for dinner! The accessibility to the beach while enjoying a quiet neighborhood with back porch sunset views on the sound are unmatched!
