COVID-19 – Office and Guest Information

Dear Guests,

We are excited to inform you that all Topsail Island Towns are allowing Vacation Rentals as of May 9, 2020 in conjunction with the NC Governor’s announcement to move into Phase I of reopening our state to ease certain COVID-19 restrictions and to help revive the economy while protecting public health. Brief Overview with Area Requirements and new Rules/Requirements from A Beach Place Realty:
*Visitors/Guests should bring their own face covering/masks as they will be required to be used inside areas where the public is allowed inside open businesses. *Please bring masks with you, practice social distancing, and proper hand hygiene!
*Our office will be closed to the public. All correspondence will need to be done via phone or email. All check-in envelopes will have sanitized keys and will be in the white Dropbox on the front of our building after 3 PM unless otherwise notified.
*All social distancing guidance is expected to be followed, even on the beach – 6 feet apart between each family group.
*Beach Accesses and public parking are open, although many or most parks are closed.
*Restaurants are currently not permitted to offer dine-in or on-site (inside or outside) eating. Take-out or delivery services are permitted only. Most of the island favorites are providing curbside pickup service.
*Limitations on the number of people permitted at one time into businesses or other public spaces based on size of the building or other factors.
*Town officials are recommending that all Visitors/Guests should bring essentials with them, including paper and sanitizing products including non-perishable groceries. Like many places in the United States, all shoppers should expect to see changes in product availability at grocery and retail outlets as supply chain demand fluctuates across the nation.

VERY IMPORTANT – NEW RULES AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
*All decorative pillows, shams, throw blankets, bed blankets, etc. are being removed from furniture and beds – they may be either removed from the property or bagged and placed into closets. Please do not remove them from their bags or closets for the safety of everyone.
*Guests will need to bring or rent blankets. We highly recommend all Guests to bring their own bed pillows.

If you would prefer to reschedule your reservation, we will allow guests to change the dates of their reservation. We will issue you a credit for the amount already paid on your reservation. The credit must be applied to the same property and before the end of the year. If the seasonal rate is higher than the original booked rate, you are responsible for the difference.

To change your dates, please send us an email with the following information to rentals@abeachplace.com :

  • Name on reservation
  • Property name
  • Scheduled dates
  • Preferred new arrival date
  • Preferred contact:  Cell phone (please provide) or Email address (please provide)

If you need to cancel your reservation, please send your cancellation request in writing to:  rentals@abeachplace.com

We will email our cleaning guidelines and requirements from our guests to assist in lessening any risk of transmitting the virus in our vacation rental homes. These policies will be fully implemented immediately and will be emailed to you directly.  We will continue to post updates as information becomes available to us.
